Miron Construction is planning to open an office in a Titletown Office building in Green Bay, near Lambeau Field.
Miron would be the second tenant in the seven-story office building overlooking Lambeau, the company announced this week, occupying 23,000 square feet of space in the building’s third floor. Miron is also the general contractor on the Titletown Office project and has worked on various projects at Lambeau over the years.
The office building is being developed by Titletown Development LLC, the real estate arm of the Green Bay Packers. The contractor expects to move into the new space in June.
“After serving as the construction manager on the project, we are thrilled to officially put down roots in Green Bay,” said John Murphy, senior vice president of Green Bay operations. “We look forward to operating from our new space as it will allow us to better serve our clients from a state-of-the-art facility in a convenient location.”
The shipping and storage firm Breakthrough was the first to announce it would occupy space in the building. The company said two weeks ago it plans to occupy all of the office’s fourth floor and part of its fifth floor starting this fall.
The office building, at Lombardi Avenue and Marlee Lane on the west side of the Titletown development, will have about 150,000 square feet of Class A office space when complete, enough for several hundred workers. The plans call for a first-floor lobby, five floors of office space and a top floor with common meeting spaces.
The office project is part of an ongoing project to turn a 45-acre area west of Lambeau Field into the Titletown district. The first phase of the Titletown project consisted of a four-diamond hotel Lodge Kohler, a Hinterland Restaurant and Brewery, a sports medicine and orthopedics center for Bellin Health and other projects. Phase two calls for the construction of 220 housing units, a five-story office building and another 100,000 square feet of future projects that could include space for retail, health care or other entertainment uses.
Miron has performed a variety of work on the Titletown project and at Lambeau field. It has also served as general contractor on several other major projects in the Green Bay area in recent years. Among them are Brown County’s $93 million Resch Expo Center near Lambeau and a $500 million paper mill for Green Bay Packaging.
The developer Commercial Horizons is also an investor in the Titletown Office building, helping to design the project.
Miron’s new office would mark its sixth location, and first in Green Bay.
“We’re pleased to have Miron Construction join us at Titletown Office,” said Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy. “They’ve been a big part of bringing to life our vision not only for Titletown, but for Lambeau Field as well, and we look forward to them continuing their growth as a company here in the Greater Green Bay area.” Follow @natebeck9
