PROJECT SIGNIFICANCE: completed new athletic facilities at Amery High School, including a new turf football and soccer fields, as part of a $43.5 million referendum passed in 2022. The referendum also kicked off separate projects at Amery Lien Elementary and Amery High School.

The athletic facilities project featured a new turf football and soccer field, turf varsity baseball field, a natural baseball field, two natural softball fields and an asphalt track, Kraus-Anderson officials said. The $4.9 million project included concrete and pavement improvements.

In August 2024, the contractor completed a $30 million, 150,000-square-foot renovation of Amery High School, separate from the athletic facilities project but funded by the same referendum. That project featured an overhaul of spaces including the science and media center, greenhouse and agriculture labs and wood and metal shops. In the same year, Kraus-Anderson completed a $9 million, 75,000-square-foot renovation and 10,000-square-foot addition at Amery Lien Elementary.
