IT Superstar of the Year – Sean Pollock – Tri-North Builders

At Tri-North, Sean Pollock oversees security, network operations, application management and corporate IT initiatives across the company’s three national offices.

Pollock, the company’s desktop systems administrator, joined Tri-North in 2018 as a help desk analyst, managing the company’s desktop and mobile technologies. He quickly launched Tech Thursday, a weekly email series providing technology tips and commands for software, computers and mobile devices to staff.

His technical expertise spans estimating, accounting, project management and client-required software systems.

During the pandemic, Pollock coordinated remote work technology solutions, assessing device requirements and creating cost-effective systems by repurposing older equipment to maintain business operations. He also led Tri-North’s transition to a hybrid cloud environment, enabling seamless collaboration between field and office staff while maintaining security protocols.

In late 2024, Pollock was promoted to his current role, where he manages consultants on hybrid cloud deployment and technology advancement. He recently completed a comprehensive phone system upgrade, replacing more than 100 desk phones and coordinating with leadership, internet service providers and vendors.

Pollock has volunteered annually since 2022 at Kids Building Wisconsin, an educational event introducing children to construction careers. He joined Tri-North’s Community Engagement Team in 2023, participating in event setup and promoting the company’s community initiatives.
