Quinn Long’s path to founding Clearcut Solutions began at age 9, tearing down a chimney alongside his father on one of Milwaukee’s historic multilevel bungalows.

Long graduated class president from Messmer High School in 2001 before joining the Laborers Union in 2003, where he got his start in concrete sawing. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Phoenix in 2012 as a single father with sole custody of his two sons.

Long founded Clearcut Solutions in 2019, bringing more than 17 years of concrete sawing and drilling experience to commercial and residential clients across Wisconsin and the Midwest.

“We create goodwill and great business relationships based on our quality of service and integrity,” Long said.

The company holds certifications including Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association credentials and OSHA 30 training. Clearcut Solutions has worked on projects ranging from hospitals and stadiums to highways and high-rise buildings.

A major contract with Hunzinger to perform concrete drilling for nearly 60 pieces of manufacturing equipment on Komatsu Mining Corp.’s Milwaukee campus marked a milestone for the company.

Clearcut Solutions has added a new service each year since its founding.
