The Assembly passed a bill that would allow Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients to obtain professional licenses such as plumbing and nursing.

Other bills up for approval would allow those seeking a business license, such as accountants, to work immediately in Wisconsin if they have a license in good standing from another state.
Department of Safety and Professional Services adds designers of engineering systems, architects to occupational licensing app
The state agency will move more than 60 occupations to its cloud-based online platform LicensE for people applying for licenses or renewing them.
