The Cleveland Avenue Bridge over Interstate 894 and in Milwaukee County will close Monday.

The bridge will be demolished as part of the reconstruction, according to a news release, and will be rebuilt by November. The Dakota Street pedestrian bridge will be open, and motorists should detour around the closure by using Highway 100, Oklahoma Avenue and 92nd Street.

Black River Falls-based Co. is the $2.5 million project’s contractor.
