Dream steam

Steam rises from fresh concrete as a crew of finishers with C.G. Schmidt Inc., Milwaukee, spread the pour to make the sixth level of the Kenwood Interdisciplinary Research Center on Dec. 18 on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus. More than 400 cubic yards of concrete was spread during the pour, which covered close to 12,000 square feet. C.G. Schmidt is overseeing construction of the 150,000-square-foot building.
