Gov. Tony Evers has signed a roughly $1 million contract to rebuild an intersection for two state highways in Kenosha County.

The state has agreed to pay Medford-based Inc. $1.05 million to rebuild the intersection of state highways 32 and 165 north of the Illinois-Wisconsin border. The project will also include the installation of traffic signals, milling and replacement of pavement, new striping and the addition of turn lanes to both highways. The work is scheduled to start on May 31 and wrap up in early September.
