Area high school students got to meet the construction trades during the 2026 Building Advantage Career Fair held Tuesday, May 5 at American Family Field. Approximately 1,300 students from 48 area high schools were expected to attend the annual event. About 50 contractors and organizations were on hand to share insights with the students and Alma Mercado from WRTP | BIG STEP addressed the students on the BIG STEP’s offerings and registered apprenticeships.
