•    Mathes Construction, Kiel, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Oct. 6 to reduce a $525 fall-protection citation to $367.50 and a $525 ladders citation to $367.50. The company was issued the citations Sept. 23 during a roofing job at 1102 Seventh St., Kiel.

Inc., Madison, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Oct. 6 to reduce a $1,500 requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citation to $1,250, increase a ladders citation from $0 to $1,750 and dismiss a $2,500 specific-excavation-requirements citation. The company was issued the citations Sept. 25 during an excavation job in Madison.

The company was issued the citations Sept. 25 during a masonry job at 154 S. Eau Claire St., Mondovi.
