Matt Tadisch of Wauwatosa-based Selzer-Ornst will serve as board president for the Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee.
AGC-GM officials elected Tadisch at its annual corporate meeting on Tuesday, association officials said. He is the current president and CEO of Selzer-Ornst and teaches at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Tadisch’s goals include bringing AGC-GM to a position to solve longstanding problems in the construction industry and grow the association’s membership, officials said.
“Our organization will continue to represent our members as we strive to strengthen and build on our industry’s commitment to safety including mental health, diversity, creating pathways for the future workforce of our industry, and acting as a voice for government relations,” he said in a statement.
Shannon Metoxen of J.P. Cullen was elected as AGC-GM vice president; Jason Schneider of VJS Construction was elected secretary; and Scott Heberlein of Mortenson Construction is past-president. In addition to the officers, Eric Schmidt of C.G. Schmidt and Jim Fleming of Langer Roofing & Sheetmetal were unanimously elected to the board and will join Tim Just of Just Consulting, Rupert Kotze of Kotze Construction, Joe Ruddell of Dawes Rigging & Construction and CLC advisory member Zach Gaatz of Findorff in rounding out the 2023 Board of Directors.
