PROJECT SIGNIFICANCE: Marquette University will reconstruct the former Halfaer Tennis Stadium and Recreation Center with a recreational and wellness facility, a university spokesperson said. The project includes updated facades and windows and a three-story “wellness tower” at the building’s core. Construction crews will use the existing building footprint and some of its structures in the new project. Engineering firm raSmith will provide site planning, site design and landscape architecture for the project.
