2024 Women in Construction – Jes Andrist – JM Brennan

Jes Andrist is known in the construction industry for her attention to detail and great work ethic.

Andrist is an assistant project manager for JM Brennan Inc., where she has taken the assistant project manager role to new heights.

Andrist works with engineers and architects to develop a plan, create a project time frame, distribute resources and ensure that projects are completed on time.

“I assist in these duties with gilt-edged experience,” Andrist said.

“Jes is a mentor to other assistant project managers,” said Mark Riehle, a mechanical engineer at JM Brennan. “When other project managers go on vacation, they know their duties will be handled.”

Andrist is a veteran of the construction industry with more than 20 years of experience. The Liberty University graduate started her career as a branch manager for Valued Services of Wisconsin LLC.

She then went on to work as an office manager for BG Contracting. After five years on that job, Andrist was hired as a service coordinator at JF Ahern.

She joined JM Brennan in fall 2022 and has been making a difference at the company ever since. “Jes has created up-to-date policies and procedures,” said Riehle.

Outside of work, Andrist gives back to the community through a variety of activities. She is an outreach leader for underserved families at her church and also offers marriage counseling. She has also taught youth group Bible study and has participated in fundraising activities for the New Life church campus.
