Demolition to clear way for Marquette student housing

Opus Development Co. LLC will begin demolition Monday of the building at 1400 W. Wells St. in Milwaukee to make way for Marquette University student housing.
Opus, based in Minnetonka, Minn., plans to build an 80-unit building, according to a news release. It’s expected to house 165 Marquette students. The project is not affiliated with the university.
Korb Tredo Architects, Milwaukee, designed the building, which will be named IVY on Fourteenth, and Harrison Street Real Estate Capital LLC, Chicago, will own it.
