Significance to the region: The development will provide affordable housing with on-site supportive services in the Grandview Commons neighborhood on Madison’s east side, just a few miles from downtown. The project will have 28 two-bedroom units and 66 three-bedroom units and a community clubhouse. The on-site amenities will include a library, computer lab, meeting space, playground and private garages. The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority has provided the development with $11 million in construction and permanent financing and approved the use of Low Income Housing Tax Credits for construction. Meanwhile, UnitedHealthcare is providing $5.4 million in equity funding through a partnership with Cinnaire and Minnesota Equity Fund. Follow @alexzank
