• Rock and Stone LLC, Eau Claire, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 1 to reduce a $750 respiratory-protection citation to $375 and a $450 hazard-communication citation to $270. The company was issued the citations June 11 during a masonry job in Osseo.
• Bay Custom Roofing and Siding Inc., Green Bay, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 1 to reduce a $2,800 fall-protection citation to $1,500. The company was issued the citation June 5 during a roofing job at 1146 Oregon St., Green Bay.
• Wayne Quade and Sons Construction, Brandon, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 2 to reduce a $1,050 aerial-lifts citation to $735 and a $1,050 scaffolding-training citation to $735. The company was issued the citations June 10 during a siding job at 120 S. Mill St., Waupun.
• American Express Transport & Excavation LLC, Eau Claire, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 2 to reduce a $2,000 specific-excavation-requirements citation to $1,000. The company was issued the citation June 26 during a plumbing, heating and air-conditioning job at 3217 Stein Blvd., Eau Claire.
• Statz Restoration & Engineering Co. Inc., Menomonee Falls, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 2 to reduce a $2,000 fall-protection citation to $1,000. The company was issued the citation June 17 during a masonry job at 819 N. Sixth St., Milwaukee.
• L.H. Krueger & Son Inc., Waukesha, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 7 to reduce a $15,000 fall-protection citation to $6,000 and two eye-and-face-protection citations, totaling $1,800, to $900. The company and OSHA also agreed to dismiss two eye-and-face-protection citations, totaling $1,800. The company was issued the citations June 25 during a roofing job in Menomonee Falls.
• SJ Louis Construction Co. Inc., Rockville, Minn., reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 8 to pay an $875 specific-excavation-requirements citation. The company was issued the citation June 19 during a water- and sewer-line job in Oshkosh.
• Prime Time Construction LLC, Monticello, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 8 to reduce a $1,500 powered-industrial-trucks citation to $600, a $450 accident-prevention-signs-and-tags citation to $180, a $1,500 material-handling-equipment citation to $600 and three scaffolding citations, totaling $4,050, to $1,620. The company was issued the citations June 19 during a siding job at 111 W. Fulton St., Edgerton.
• James Peterson Sons Inc., Medford, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 8 to reduce two requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citations, totaling $3,600, to $1,500. The company was issued the citations June 23 during an excavation job at 121 Barstow Road, Horicon.
• Cedar Creek Carpentry Inc., New Baltimore, Mich., reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 8 to reduce a $2,100 scaffolding citation to $1,470 and a $2,100 fall-protection citation to $1,470. The company was issued the citations June 18 during a framing job in Kenosha.
• The Spancrete Group Inc., Waukesha, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 9 to reduce a $1,875 fall-protection citation to $937.50. The company was issued the citation June 24 during a building exterior job at 800 University Bay Drive, Madison.
• Gethsemane Roofing, McFarland, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 14 to reduce a $750 fall-protection citation to $400 and a $600 fall-protection-training citation to $300. The company was issued the citations June 30 during a roofing job at 640 Enterprise Drive, Verona.
• R&B Roofing Inc., Hortonville, reached a formal settlement with OSHA on July 16 to reduce an $800 eye-and-face-protection citation to $300, a $1,400 fall-protection-training citation to $400 and a $10,000 fall-protection citation to $2,000. The company was issued the citations Feb. 24 during a roofing job at 309 E. Main St., Hortonville.
• Paul Schneider Construction, Eau Claire, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 16 to reduce a $450 head-protection citation to $0, a $750 hand-and-power-tools citation to $450, $450 electrical-installation-safety citation to $270 and a $600 scaffolding citation to $360. The company was issued the citations June 29 during a siding job at 1904 Providence Court, Eau Claire.
