Lunda awarded part of Highway 41 project

Lunda Construction Co., Black River Falls, has been awarded a contract for work on the conversion of Highway 41 into an interstate in Winnebago County.
Lunda submitted the low bid July 12 for Highway 41 work from Highway 26 to Breezewood Lane and Highway 21 to 45. The company’s bid of $54,180,900.23 was lower than Brownsville-based Michels Corp. ($56.5 million) and Plain-based Edward Kraemer & Sons Inc. ($61.2 million).
