• Advance Construction Inc., Green Bay, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 20 to reduce a $3,850 eye-and-face-protection citation to $2,000; a $5,390 rigging-equipment-for-material-handling citation to $3,000; two specific-excavation-requirements citations, totaling $16,170, to $5,500; and two requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citations, totaling $16,170, to $5,000. The company was issued the citations July 27 during a water- and sewer-line job at 1600 N. Ballard Road, Appleton.

• NCI-Roberts Construction Inc., Blue Mounds, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 20 to reduce a $2,800 fall-protection citation to $1,500. The company was issued the citation Aug. 2 during a commercial and institutional building job at 351 E. Main St., Mount Horeb.

• Gilly’s Siding LLC, Boscobel, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 20 to reduce a $2,000 fall-protection citation to $1,200 and a $2,000 ladders citation to $1,200. The company was issued the citations July 27 during a roofing job at 1612 Garfield Ave., Altoona.

• Stay-Lite Lighting Inc., Pewaukee, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 21 to pay a $3,500 electrical-protective-devices citation, a $4,900 selection-and-use-of-electrical-work-practices citation and a $4,900 safeguards-for-personnel-protection citation. The company was issued the citations Aug. 2 during an electrical job at W233 N2800 Roundy Circle W., Pewaukee.

• Paradise Builders LLC, Waukesha, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 21 to reduce a $3,200 fall-protection citation to $1,800. The company was issued the citation Aug. 3 during a single-family housing job at 336 Park Ave., Pewaukee.

• Schmitt Building & Design Inc., Deerfield, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 21 to reduce a $1,360 fall-protection citation to $680. The company was issued the citation Aug. 3 during a framing job at N37 W23700 Broken Hill Circle S., Pewaukee.

• Olympic Builders General Contractors Inc., Holmen, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 22 to reduce a $1,360 rough-terrain-forklift citation to $952. The company was issued the citation Aug. 15 during a water- and sewer-line job at 702 E. North Road, Cadott.

• Cydus Inc., Verona, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 22 to reduce a $2,800 fall-protection-training citation to $500, a $2,800 scaffolding citation to $1,400 and a $2,800 fall-protection citation to $0. The company was issued the citations Aug. 3 during a siding job at N37 W23700 Broken Hill Circle S., Pewaukee.

• DJ Exterior Inc., Waunakee, on Aug. 30 accepted government dismissal of a $23,100 fall-protection citation. The company was issued the citation Nov. 2 during a roofing job at 419 W. Lemonweir St., New Lisbon.
