• Barlament Erection Crane Rentals, Green Bay, reached a formal settlement with OSHA on June 13 to reduce a $2,000 rigging-equipment-for-material-handling citation to $750 and a $2,800 cranes-and-derricks-inspections citation to $750. The company was issued the citations June 28, 2012, during a specialty trade job in Hobart.
• Orva Yoder, Cambria, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 22 to reduce a $2,800 fall-protection citation to $1,960. The company was issued the citation June 27 during a roofing job at N0796 Linden St., Dalton.
• Pember Companies Inc., Menomonie, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 23 to reduce a $3,500 specific-excavation-requirements citation to $2,200 and a $4,900 requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citation to $2,000. The company was issued the citations June 27 during a water- and sewer-line job at 8590 Highway 51 N., Minocqua.
• Firkus Masonry Inc., Stevens Point, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 24 to reduce a $2,000 requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citation to $1,400. The company was issued the citation July 1 during a masonry job at 1802 Second St., Wausau.
• Platinum Builders Inc., Union Grove, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 24 to reduce a $2,400 fall-protection citation to $1,200 and a $1,600 ladders citation to $800. The company was issued the citations July 3 during a framing job at 3902 17th Place, Kenosha.
• Thomas Hribar Truck & Equipment Inc., Sturtevant, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 25 to reduce a $4,900 fall-protection-training citation to $2,450, a $4,900 general-safety-and-health-provisions citation $2,450, a $4,900 lead citation to $2,450, a $4,900 asbestos citation to $2,450, a $4,900 cadmium citation to $2,450, a $4,900 inorganic-arsenic citation to $2,450 and two fall-protection citations, totaling $9,100, to $4,550. The company was issued the citations July 3 during a site preparation job at 100 S. Dodge St., Burlington.

• Soto Construction LLC, Lake Geneva, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 26 to reduce a $2,000 aerial-lifts citation to $700, a $2,000 scaffolding citation to $700 and a $2,000 general-safety-and-health-provisions citation to $600. The company was issued the citations July 3 during a siding job at 25 Gaslight Drive, Racine.
