The Loomis Crossing mixed-use development has a recent addition after project partners cut the ribbon to a 40,000-square-foot medical building in Greenfield.
According to officials, the multi-tenant medical office is one of the first facilities to open at Loomis Crossing, a mixed-use campus at the intersection of Layton Avenue and Loomis Road. The 38-acre campus will include a 150,000-square-foot business park, 287 luxury apartments and a skate park.
Representatives from Cobalt Partners, Hammes, RINKA+ and CG Schmidt on Thursday cut the ribbon with Greenfield Mayor Michael Neitzke. CG Schmidt broke ground on the medical office in February 2023.
The building features a state-of-the-art facility for medical providers and visibility from nearby Interstate 894, CG Schmidt officials said. Patients from Greenfield, Oak Creek, West Allis, New Berlin and the south side of Milwaukee can access the building. Two tenants have already occupied the building, and officials noted there is space for up to five more.
Scott Yauck, CEO of Cobalt Partners, said the medical office will fulfill the growing demand for accessible and high-quality healthcare in Greenfield.
“Both physician groups and residents in and around the area will benefit from the office’s prime location and proximity to Loomis Crossing’s many other amenities,” Yauck added.
