Best Women Owned Businesses: Melissa Gaglione

Listen to this articleMelissa Gaglione is the founder and CEO of Safety4Her, a company created to address the lack of properly fitting safety clothing for women in the workforce.
After entering the towing industry, Gaglione struggled to find gear that offered both comfort and protection. Her research revealed that women across industries faced the same challenge, inspiring her to launch Safety4Her in 2018. The company opened its first brick-and-mortar location in 2021.
Safety4Her has gained recognition in the construction industry, with Gaglione earning a spot among The Daily Reporter’s 2021 Women in Construction Award winners. She has built her business on the belief that women deserve safety apparel designed with them in mind.
“My mission behind creating this line was not only to protect the women in this growing industry, but to also provide clothing we would be comfortable in while working,” Gaglione said.
