C-Level Awards 2026: Craig Jorgensen, President and CEO, VJS Construction Services Inc.

Craig Jorgensen has served as president and chief executive officer of VJS Construction Services Inc. since June 1988, leading the Pewaukee-based general contracting, construction management and design/build firm for nearly 38 years.

Under his leadership, VJS Construction Services has grown into a $250 million company with a 75-year history of building throughout southeast Wisconsin. The firm attributes much of its success to an 80% repeat client base, built on a commitment to client relationships and an exceptional customer experience.

Jorgensen has driven continuous improvements across project management, administration, training, safety and field procedures. VJS Construction Services credits those efforts as an accelerating factor in the company’s dynamic growth.

The company serves clients across a broad range of markets, including K-12 and higher education, senior living, multi-family housing, corporate, civic and community, manufacturing and industrial, aviation, religious, retail and hospitality, and healthcare.

Jorgensen holds a Bachelor of Science in construction engineering from Iowa State University.
