C-Level Awards 2026: Ugo Nwagbaraocha | C-Level Award Winner

Ugo Nwagbaraocha, president of Diamond Discs International and Diamond Discs International Construction Management, has built a Milwaukee-based company into a regional powerhouse supplying construction tools, safety equipment and power tools to major utility and construction entities nationwide.

Under his leadership, Diamond Discs International relocated to a new global headquarters, expanded into construction management and earned MBE, DBE and SBA 8(a) certifications. The company employs 12 people and maintains one of the nation’s largest inventories of professional-grade diamond-edged cutting tools.

Nwagbaraocha also serves as president of the National Association of Minority Contractors – Wisconsin Chapter and was named regional vice president and executive committee board member of the national organization in October 2024. He holds board seats with the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, Children’s Wisconsin Foundation, Employ Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Foundation.

His advocacy for “strategic unbundling” has helped local small businesses compete for specialized niches in multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects spanning broadband, renewable energy and utility construction.
