C-Level Awards 2026: Dave Kievet | President and CEO, The Boldt Group

Dave Kievet has spent more than two decades building one of the construction industry’s most forward-thinking organizations. As president and CEO of The Boldt Group — a family of companies headquartered in Appleton, Wis. — Kievet leads an employee-owned enterprise of nearly 1,900 workers focused on transforming the built environment through innovation and Lean methodology.

Kievet’s tenure has been defined by turning long-range vision into competitive advantage. He has been a driving force behind Boldt’s Integrated Lean Project Delivery model, a delivery system integrating designers, engineers and builders through relational contracts and shared risk. Under his leadership, the company launched Bildt, a modular and prefabrication business, and developed STAAT MOD, a patented acuity-adaptable modular healthcare solution that emerged during COVID-19 and evolved into a sustained product line.

His efforts have helped double revenue, grow the company’s ESOP value and maintain industry-leading safety and engagement performance. Boldt completed its transition to 100% employee ownership in early 2026.
