C-Level Awards 2026: Tom Irgens, Executive Vice President, Irgens Partners

Tom Irgens serves as executive vice president of Irgens Partners, the Wauwatosa-based commercial real estate development firm, where he oversees the asset management team and directs activities to drive market value across the company’s diverse portfolio of commercial, healthcare, mixed-use, retail and industrial holdings nationwide.

Irgens joined the firm in 2009 as a development representative, advancing to manager of asset management in 2012, vice president in 2014 and his current role in 2019.

His responsibilities include leading asset-specific business planning encompassing marketing, leasing and property management to enhance each asset’s financial performance. He also mentors new and existing team members and sits on Irgens’ board of directors and investment committee.

Among his notable accomplishments, Irgens led the acquisition of Innovation Park — a project involving the purchase of 25 acres, land entitlement with the City of Wauwatosa and Milwaukee County and negotiation of an $18 million, three-building TIF package. He also completed development of the Golf Parkway Corporate Center and Hydrite Chemical Co. headquarters, both in Brookfield.

Irgens is an active member of the Commercial Association of Realtors Wisconsin, a trustee of Milwaukee Repertory Theater and a board member of Milwaukee Downtown BID #21.

He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelor’s degree in history from Kenyon College.
