SIGNIFICANCE OF PROJECT: The 42 Hundred On The Lake project gives tenants views overlooking Lake Michigan from apartments that are only five miles south of downtown Milwaukee. The rents range from $1,248 to $3,350.

The units have quartz kitchen countertops, white marble bathroom vanities, frameless cabinets, stainless steel appliances, 9-foot ceilings, and walk-in wardrobes, per plan. The ground-floor apartments have a patios, and the upper-floor ones have balconies.

The project’s features include a two-story clubhouse with an entertainment kitchen and a large dining table, a coffee bar, a private lounge, a business center with private conference rooms, a game room and a fitness center. One of its two courtyards has bocce and bean-bag courts, grilling stations, fire pits and lounge areas, and the second offers an infinity pool. There are also a pet spa with washing station, grooming table and dryer; a bike-sharing station; and underground, heated parking.
